Leopardo Construction Completes 17,000-SF Renovation Of The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa

Modernization Includes First Heavenly Spa in Contiguous United States

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, South Carolina (May 8, 2007) – Leopardo Construction, a leading construction services firm, completed a 17,000-square-foot renovation and modernization of The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. 

The two-phase project consisted of 8,000 square feet of new administrative and accounting offices, as well as a 9,000-square-foot Heavenly Spa, the first built at a Westin Resort in the contiguous United States.  Currently, there are only two other Heavenly Spas, which are located at Westin Resorts in Fiji and Honolulu. 

The Heavenly Spa features two steam showers, two saunas, a large whirlpool tub, 12 treatment rooms, a couple’s treatment room and lavish locker rooms.  Extensive mahogany millwork is found throughout the spa along with other prominent features, such as marble showers and baths, and a lobby that includes high-end wood flooring and a luxurious water feature.
