Leopardo Construction Completes 25,000-Square-Foot I-Car Corporate Headquarters In Hoffman Estates, Il
International Non-Profit Organization’s Grand Opening Scheduled for October 20, 2005
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois (October 5, 2005) – Leopardo Construction, a leading Chicagoland construction services firm, today announced the completion of the 25,000-square-foot corporate headquarters of the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), an international non-profit organization dedicated to training the collision repair industry.
Located at 5125 Trillium Blvd. in the Prairie Stone Business Center, the building includes classroom and training facilities, a computer room and mail room, storage areas, and office space for executives, administration and marketing. The construction features an architectural pre-cast façade with blue metal panel accents, pre-cast reveals and high-performance reflective blue glass. Pre-finished exterior sunshade features add to the contemporary look.
The structure also includes exposed ceiling construction with a unique custom-translucent roof skylight that stretches 100 feet long by 10 feet wide by 6 feet high. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new corporate headquarters is scheduled for Thursday, October 20.
“Since I-CAR is a provider of innovative educational programs, we worked closely with them and the architects to build a headquarters complete with state-of-the-art control systems for lighting, projectors, projection screens, shading devices, security and HVAC systems,” said Pierre Cowart, project executive in Leopardo Construction’s office and industrial group.
“Leopardo itself is based in the Prairie Stone Business Center and has built an impressive portfolio of local projects, so we were able to provide unparalleled service and insight to help this project stay on schedule and within budget.”
Leopardo Construction served as general contractor of the project. Loebl Schlossman & Hackl provided architectural services with Lake Michigan Financial representing the owner, I-CAR.
