CHICAGO, Illinois (March 4, 2010) – Leopardo recently completed the interior construction of Walgreen Co.’s first-ever downtown offices.
Walgreen Co.’s new 20,000-square-foot office space is located on the 4th floor of the landmark Sullivan Center, which is being repositioned by Joseph Freed & Associates.
According to a March 4, 2010 Crain’s Chicago Business article, the new space will house 65 employees who handle Walgreen’s graphic and web design, marketing, information technology and merchandising.
Back in 2007, Leopardo began implementing Joseph Freed’s repositioning strategy at the former Carson Pirie Scott building. Leopardo gutted eight floors and 600,000 square feet of old retail space, and helped transform the historic building into a modern, multi-tenant, mixed-use property for retail, commercial and educational tenants.
Leopardo served as the general contractor with DePalma Group as the architect.
