Leopardo Completes Fourth Major Construction Project for Harvest Bible Chapel

Leopardo Managed Nearly 500,000 Square Feet of Construction For Suburban Church

CRYSTAL LAKE, Illinois (February 5, 2009) – Leopardo Companies, Inc. recently completed the conversion of a 40,000-square-foot warehouse to establish the new Crystal Lake campus of Harvest Bible Chapel.

Located at 580 Tracy Trail, Harvest’s Crystal Lake campus features a 800-seat auditorium, children’s ministry classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, cafeteria and bookstore.

In 2007, Leopardo built two phases of a three-level, 300,000-square-foot addition at the Harvest’s main Elgin campus. The new 2,500-seat auditorium featured a 54-foot tall audience chamber with a tiered floor, catwalk structures and theatrical lighting. The project also included children’s ministry classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, cafeteria, bookstore and gymnasium. Extensive audio and video equipment was installed with live media production capabilities for television audiences.

In 2004, Harvest contracted with Leopardo to build a 50,000-square-foot school known as Harvest Christian Academy at the Elgin campus. The elementary and middle school included 20 new classrooms, a 630-seat temporary worship center, library, science laboratory, art room, gymnasium and kitchen.

In 2000, Leopardo converted a 106,000-square-foot warehouse, located just off Illinois Route 53, into Harvest’s Rolling Meadows campus. The project included a two-story, 265-seat worship center with tiered seating, a new gymnasium, new administrative offices and a new chapel with clerestory ceiling.
