Leopardo’s sustainable construction experience spans all levels of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), including Silver, Gold and Platinum ratings.
An experience green builder, Leopardo was selected by the City of Chicago and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Chicago Chapter as the general contractor for the Greenbuild 2007 Legacy Project, a LEED-Platinum project at the Chicago Center for Green Technology.
Currently, Leopardo is working on several green roof and LEED-seeking projects, including a 200,000-SF, $70 million police headquarters in Aurora, Illinois, that aims to be a Gold-standard green building when completed in 2009.
