HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois (April 1, 2008) – Leopardo Construction, a leading construction services firm, is building Prairie Stone Crossing, an eight-acre, 63,000-square-foot shopping center comprised of three buildings and one outlot pad.

The three retail buildings, which will be completed in early June 2008, are 44,000, 12,500 and 6,200 square feet. The larger building will be occupied by the national retailer Sports Authority. Leopardo Construction is serving as the general contractor of the project with design by Chicago-based Built Form Architecture. San Francisco-based United Growth LLC is the developer.

Prairie Stone Crossing is located at the northwest corner of Old Sutton Rd. (Rt. 59) and the newly-named Hoffman Blvd., just north of I-90 and just south of the 400,000-square-foot, Target-anchored Poplar Creek Crossing shopping center that Leopardo Construction completed in April 2006.
