HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois (March 11, 2008) – Leopardo Construction today announced that its painting director, Norb Soltysiak, was elected president of the Finishing Contractors Association of Chicago (FCAC).

The FCAC is an organization of union painting contractors operating in the Chicago metropolitan area. As president, Norb’s goals are to increase organization membership and promote the services of FCAC members to building owners and managers. Another important role is education and training as the FCAC actively promotes safety and craftsmanship, and offers several apprenticeship programs.

Norb has dedicated 10 years to the FCAC and has held several leadership positions, including trustee, secretary and vice president. His presidency is a two-year term. As painting director at Leopardo, Norb oversees 60 union painters and tapers who complete 150 projects per year.
