Improvements Made to Entrance, Suites, Offices, Corridors and Restrooms at White Sox Park
CHICAGO, Illinois (March 5, 2008) – Leopardo Construction, a leading construction services firm, recently completed 119,400 square feet of interior renovations at U.S. Cellular Field, home of the Chicago White Sox.
After more than 15 years of constant wear and tear from White Sox fans, the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (ISFA), owner and operator of U.S. Cellular Field, turned to Leopardo Construction for an off-season facelift. The multi-faceted and multi-phase project resulted in the modernization of several areas around the stadium, including:
• 95 spectator suites on the 200 and 400 levels (58,000-SF)
• All 200 and 400 level corridors (41,000-SF)
• All 200 and 400 level restrooms (16,000-SF)
• The ISFA offices at the ground level (approximately 2,900-SF)
• The Gate 4 entrance (approximately 1,500-SF)
