OAK LAWN, Illinois (February 14, 2008) – Leopardo Construction, a leading construction services firm, recently completed a new expansion at Advocate Christ Medical Center that totals more than 90,000 square feet and over $30 million worth of work.
Located at 4440 W. 95th Street in Oak Lawn, the expansion integrated the existing hospital surgical department with the addition of five operating rooms, and the Adult Surgical Heart Unit with 20 new patient rooms. As one of the premier teaching institutions in the region, the expansion also featured a state-of-the-art, 245-seat clinical education auditorium and conference center.
The project also included a new testing laboratory, a central sterile department and physicians’ lounge. Simultaneously, Leopardo Construction managed a multi-phase renovation to Advocate Christ Medical Center’s neonatal and prenatal intensive care units.
