ADA Corporate Headquarters Receives First Major Upgrade in 40 Years
CHICAGO, Illinois (March 3, 2006) – Leopardo Construction, a leading construction services firm, today announced the completion of the eight-floor, 120,000-square-foot interior renovation of the American Dental Association’s corporate headquarters.
The American Dental Association (ADA), the professional organization of dentists, has owned the building, located at 211 E. Chicago St., since the 1960s and this was its first major upgrade since that time.
The ADA’s newly modernized space features custom glasswork, upgraded washrooms, extensive millwork and lighting as well as a new low voltage infrastructure. The finished headquarters also includes a new computer room with an access floor and supplemental cooling. The flooring includes stone in the lobby, ceramic in the washrooms and carpet throughout.
The executive level includes dining facilities and a state-of-the-art boardroom with plasma screens and a custom boardroom table with video screens, microphones and director voting capabilities installed at each seat.
