Village of Clarendon HIlls Police Department
Leopardo built this new 14,400-SF, two-story police facility. Leopardo designed the building to integrate into a site shared with the Public Works Department.
- The project was delivered through a Design-Build approach with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) established at the end of preliminary design
- Project design and approach restructured to reduce construction costs from $3.8 million to $2.5 million
- Programmed spaces include administrative offices, officers' and sergeants' work spaces, criminal investigations, booking and holding cells, evidence processing and storage, locker rooms, a training room, a sally port and impound bays
- The project progressed from schematic design to owner occupancy in 13 months

If someone came to me right now, I'd say you have to take a look at this company. Leopardo, by far, blew away the other companies that we interviewed.
William Powell, Chief of Police
City of Aurora
The building far exceeded expectations. The Village Board continues to be amazed at what Leopardo was able to build for the dollars they put into the project. We actually finished the project early and $200,000 under budget.
L. Patrick Anderson, Chief of Police
Clarendon Hills Police Department
Leopardo had a great deal of respect for the local budget. We would be pleased to work with them again.
