Aurora Police Headquarters & Branch Court Facility

Aurora, the second largest city in Illinois, desperately needed a new facility to house 400 public safety employees and consolidate three bureaus, eleven divisions, a 911 emergency call center and branch court house. To build this $66 million, 200,000-SF headquarters, the City of Aurora partnered with Leopardo as construction manager.

New radio system upgraded 911 capability, new fingerprint analysis system - all of which will shorten response times, enhance effectiveness and improve service to the community
The facility is among the most energy efficient and sustainable police campuses in the United States

With great attention to environmental details, the public safety campus is aiming for Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
