When Komatsu America Corp. decided to consolidate its North American headquarters to a new suburban location, Leopardo worked closely with the Architectural firm Partners by Design to help them transition from a predominately closed-office culture to an innovative open-office environment highlighting new imagery, branding identity and comprehensive upgrades of all technology infrastructures.  

• 105,000-SF, five-story interior headquarters consolidation completed in 15 weeks

• State-of-the-art training room, sophisticated computer server room, and an executive boardroom with high-end millwork, lighting and wall finishes

• Circular and triangular-shaped rooms and ceilings depicting wheel spokes and gears of construction equipment

• Sophisticated security, paging and audio/visual systems including teleconferencing, in-house networking and training

• Implementation of a multi-functional town center space allowing for communal gathering. This 7,000 SF kitchen / lunchroom / (3) conference-training room facility opens into multiple spatial arrangements allowing for up to 300 people -a town hall gathering
