Leopardo was brought on board for this assisted living project after construction documents had been completed. During subcontractor bidding and negotiating, we were able to assemble a list of value engineering items with a potential savings value of approximately 10% of construction costs. Covenant Retirement Communities accepted many of these items, and they have been incorporated into the construction of this facility. Leopardo was able to procure and expedite delivery of critical path building components. This, coupled with alternative construction methods for winter conditions, allowed us to maintain an aggressive construction schedule and complete this project early.
