This new surgical addition serves as the outpatient entrance on the Provena Mercy Medical Center campus and houses their ambulatory surgery and inpatient surgery programs. The design of this space is patient/family centric and separates all inpatient and outpatient functions and flow including a separate day surgery patient discharge lounge and exit. This project included renovation of Provena’s existing surgical department into their new state-of-the-art intensive care unit.
