This 150,000-SF historic structure had been abandoned for seven years when the City of Chicago decided to convert it into a school. Leopardo Construction gutted the entire interior including debris removal, abestos abatement and mold/mildew elimination. Once gutted, Leopardo constructed new classrooms, a library and a cafeteria.
