Leopardo Construction executed the original design/build of this 62,000-SF blending and processing facility for Priority Food Processing. Project highlights include:

• Separate processing and blending rooms with a sophisticated exhaust and dust collection system in the blending area

• Conference/meeting room with skylights, high-end millwork, remodeled kitchen laboratory

• Six openings cut into pre-cast concrete for window installations

• Installation of an exterior tower system to meet Priority's stringent process and HVAC requirements

• On-site packaging area

• Priority engages not only in contract blending of various dry goods but also their own blending of coffees and cappuccinos for the flavors industry. Therefore, special consideration was given to FDA requirements and regulations specific to Priority/Pinnacle Foods operational needs, including an exterior stone ring for repelling insects and rodents
