Working in tight spaces is not a problem… at least for Leopardo Construction who was brought in at the tail end of a building demolition and proceeded to systematically construct a new two-story restaurant for Famous Dave’s BBQ.

• Constructed in a zero lot line loop location making for challenging delivery of 98-foot steel roof trusses

• Delivery process included special transportation, access permits and the assistance of the Chicago Police Department for traffic control

• Travel routes were planned and streets were closed for unloading and erection of trusses between two existing buildings

• Two-story kitchen

• Two bars

• Interior/exterior thematic design with extensive changes up to six-weeks prior to the grand opening
