Chicago Public Library - Archer Heights Branch
Chicago, Illinois
The Archer Heights Branch library is a one-story neighborhood library located on the southwest side of Chicago, near Midway Airport. The construction of this facility posed specific challenges to Leopardo Construction due to winter construction including temporary masonry enclosures and heat. Since this building was constructed within a flight path of the airport, special sound features were also incorporated in its design.
