This 18,000-SF, 3-story addition was required to realign the north security checkpoint at Chicago’s Midway Airport

• Extensive curtain-wall construction, terrazzo flooring and cantilever structural steel system

• Extreme project logistic requirement due to caisson foundation systems, major utility coordination, proximity to main terminal and pedestrian bridges

• All workers had to be shuttled on and off project due to limited project work area, traffic safety issues and F.A. A. security requirements
